Covers the target area in a sticky toxin, damaging and slowing down troops and buildings. Remember: solvent abuse can kill!
- This card is unlockable from the Spell Valley (Arena 5).
- When cast, the Poison spell creates a circular AoE (Area of Effect) in which troops and buildings affected by the spells toxic cloud are inflicted DoT (Damage over Time), reducing troops movement speed.
How to counter Poison
A new card that was introduced with the last big update, Poison will slow and deal damage to all troops and buildings in a large radius. It is particularly deadly against swarms of squishy troops like Minions and Goblins and will straight up kill them if they remain in the area for too long. The key to playing against Poison is to spread out your troops, preferably deploying your air troops such as Minions over the river instead of behind the tank.
- The Poison can be used effectively to damage both troops and buildings. Ideally, it is effective at crippling the infamous Hut spam strategy (Goblin Hut, Barbarian Hut or Tombstone), as it slows down building spawn time and damages the troops that spawn out of the building, along with the buildings themselves.
- Poison should not be used as a last resort to kill an Arena Tower. Its slow DoT can give your opponent extra momentum to destroy the players Crown Tower.
